Reb Arie is a wisdom educator in Ottawa.
Midrash means “interpretation”. Midrash was originally used to expose Jewish tradition to an audience. I use midrash differently –
It exposes an audience to Jewish opinions.
Always religiously engaged, I am active in restorative justice, civil society, and the demystification of Judaisms.
I concern myself and my school with creating a Jewish religous activism that is unafraid of Other.
I am also a spiritual directo. My spiritual direction practice specialises in adult men’s issues, especially with respect to trauma, addiction, and alcoholism. Clinical education in spiritual direction is open to women.
I do not accept referrals for anyone under the age of 18.
